Oare Marshes, 15:30 to 16:30, Calm. Cloudy but clear visibility following heavy shower. No dog walkers.
8 Marsh Harrier ((++) Unsually high level of activity today. Succession of birds in from east in 1's and 2's (I lost count) but 8, incl. 5 males, seen settling in reeds at E end of EF. (In an earlier lunchtime visit 4 seen hunting over EF incl. a male carrying prey which it dropped when mobbed by crows.) ) [Roger Clews]
